Top questions
What is Ignite?
Ignite is a worship event that aims to take place three times a year in Inverness. It is a multi-denominational, multi-generational worship event that seeks to unite people from throughout the north of Scotland.
Where does it take place?
Ignite takes place in the Ironworks in Inverness. Doors open at 7pm and the event will aim to start at 7.30pm. Ignite will usually finish at 9.30pm. However, from time to time after the formal event has finished a further time of worship may happen.
How do I get tickets and is there any cost?
Tickets are available from the Ironworks box office. Tickets are available free of charge but are limited to 6 per person. Due to the size of the venue the events have to be ticketed. There will be approximately 450 seats downstairs and a further 50 seats in the balcony. The balcony is restricted to parents with very young children. There is a limited amount of standing room in the venue so if you don’t have a ticket please come along and if there are any unused seats they will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If all the seats are taken then people will be shown where it is possible to stand by the stewards. For group bookings please contact David or Chris & they will be delighted to send you the number of tickets required provided they are available.
What is an Igniter? (Ignite Ambassador)
An Igniter is an Ignite Ambassador. There will hopefully be Igniters throughout the north of Scotland and their role will be help build support for Ignite. What is the worship and praise like?
We make every effort to cater to as many different worship styles as possible and we sing a broad range of songs from traditional hyms to the very latest contemporary Christian worship songs.
Is Ignite a youth event?
Ignite is not primarily a youth event although youth groups are more than welcome. We like to think that Ignite is for everyone from 1 month old to people who are 80 years old. There is no age restriction whatsoever. One of the encouraging things about Ignite is to see children come along with parents and grandparents and for the different generations to worship together.
Can I support Ignite financially?
Yes, at every event we take on offering which goes to further the work of Ignite but you can also support Ignite via monthly standing order. Our hope is to have 100 people supporting us just £5 per month & you can get one of these forms from Chris – This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
